US comedian Kathy Griffin apologises for 'beheaded Trump' photo



A US comedian has apologised for a picture shoot in which she seemed retaining a faux bloodied head that resembled US President Donald Trump.

In a video message published on Twitter, Kathy Griffin "begged" for forgiveness and said she had "crossed a line".

She said she changed into asking movie star photographer Tyler Shields to cast off the image from the net.

The grotesque image delivered a hurricane of on line complaint, such as from Mr Trump's son, Donald Trump Jr.
